Contra Costa
Chamber Orchestra
2007-2008 Season

"Here, there...and back again"

The opening concert of the CCCO’s 2007-2008 season will be an “itinerary” of the seasons’ musical “vacations”, starting in America, and traveling through Europe and back again to America. The middle concerts of the season will each focus on one country - Germany/Austria, France and Italy.  The first half of the final concert will begin in England, and then “fly home” in the second half, to America. Each concert will explore music through an historical perspective, selecting works from a wide range (if not all) of the periods of music history: Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and 20th Century/contemporary.
