Mission

To bring quality chamber music to the Contra Costa Community.

GOALS
Our primary goal is to provide the community with the special musical experience of a chamber orchestra. We continually provide unique programming from world premieres, outstanding guest artists, local artists, and a variety of musical groups from trios to octets to a fifty-piece chamber orchestra. The delineated goals are:

1. To present quality music and soloists to the community at an affordable price.
2. To maintain a high caliber community orchestra by enhancing the music education of the members through instruction and exposure to contemporary and traditional repertoire.
3. To encourage participation and attendance of students who are in the community.
4. To encourage composers to write chamber orchestra music.
5. To highlight local talent as well as nationally prominent soloists.
6. To perform in an appropriate venue
